Embracing Weakness

We explore a second pitfall common in the Christian life. The disciples have become enamored with Jesus' power and authority, but He wants to remind them their focus must always be the cross. This sermon explores the concepts of shame and weakness. Many view weakness as something to be solved, but Jesus views it as something to be embraced. We spend our days trying to figure out how to conquer our weaknesses and triumph over them. Yet Jesus says weakness is the very means through which God will accomplish His purposes. Therefore, we ought to embrace it.
