This year we will be making our way through the Bible once again and we invite everyone at The Vine Community Church to join in. Some of the many benefits to reading the Bible together as a church is that it naturally lends itself to mutual encouragement, accountability, and continued growth in Christ. Our hope is that as the people of God, we can all strengthen one another in being a people of the Word. Most of all though, our hope and prayer is that as the Word has its affect on us, that as the Apostle Paul would say, "... your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ; having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God."
We read six days, about four chapters a day, and on Sundays we break. Life will get busy, you will probably fall behind, but we are not doing this to prove how great we are. We are doing it, in community, precisely to help one another persevere, encourage, and grow in the Lord.
