MATT MILLER

Elder, Pastor/Teacher

I have served as pastor to The Vine Community Church since it began in 2018, and it has been my great delight. I have been married to my precious wife, Lydia, since 2011. We have three children; Naomi, Levi, and James. They are our joy, and we love them very much. I received my M.Div. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and am currently working on my Doctorate (D.Min.) at The Master's Seminary. I am the primary teaching/preaching pastor, and also the one responsible for the bulk of developing the vision and goals of The Vine. My pastimes include woodworking and a good golf course.

BRUCE ROEDER

Elder

I formerly served as the associate pastor until I retired in July of 2021. My academic credentials include an Associate Degree in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute, a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Communication from Concordia University, and a Master’s Degree in Biblical Counseling from Master’s Divinity School. I am a certified biblical counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. My wife Liz and I have a great son and sweet daughter-in-law, with whom we have the privilege to serve with at The Vine. We have three precious grand-kids who keep us young. My personal interests are reading history, theology, and anything biblical counseling. I enjoy computer wargames, blogging, historical miniatures painting, baseball, summer fishing, and biking with my wife.

Pat O'Keefe

Music Director

My wife Holli and I live in Greendale with our four wonderful children: Lincoln, Shea, Timothy, & Peter. I work as a criminal prosecutor at the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office, while Holli is the Admissions Director at Heritage Christian Schools. I came to faith in my teenage years and met Holli as we attended college at UW-Parkside. After proposing to Holli in the college library (you had to be there!), we married and joined The Vine Community Church as it planted in 2018. Since joining VCC, we have grown immensely in our trust in, and love for, the word of God. In our spare time we enjoy reading and hanging out with friends.

Anna Schwab

Administrative Assistant

In early 2021 my husband Christopher and I joined The Vine Community Church, and it’s been my joy and privilege to serve as the church’s administrative assistant since 2022. In our time here, we have developed a deeper love of God, His word, and have met some of our closest friends. I’m a graduate of UWM and have loved making Milwaukee my home. In my free time I enjoy cooking, hiking, playing Dutch Blitz with my husband at our local coffeeshop, and fixing up our home in Riverwest.

John Loughlin

Ministry Resident

I am deeply honored to serve as The Vine's Ministry Resident, in which I have to opportunity to lead and serve in several different areas. I have been married to my wife Holly for almost 25 years, and we have one daughter, Murren. I currently study online for the Master of Divinity at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, located in Louisville, Kentucky, and I hope to graduate in the Fall of 2026.

Noah Healy

Custodian

I have been with the Vine for just over three years.
I enjoy the opportunity that God has granted me
as the custodian of the church. Outside of that,
I am also a full-time student at MATC in Oak Creek.
I am currently going through EMT Basic training,
in hopes to one day use those skills in the police force.
I also work full-time at Chick-fil-A in Drexel Town Square.
When I’m not working or studying, I enjoy reading, playing piano,
and spending time with friends and family.
