Our Mission of Mercy

In a day in which so many tribes are fighting for their own justice, Jesus shows the inclusive nature of the Kingdom, and that it must be defined by mercy. It's an important passage which sets the stage for the next ten chapters of Luke's Gospel. Jesus will now begin some intensive teaching for His disciples as He now begins His journey to Jerusalem to be crucified. It's a wonderful passage showing us the character that must define our mission as the Church. It is an often overlooked passage, but one that is timely and instructive for every age.
